About the Experience
Theme of the night: The Art of Hospitality
Welcome to the first meal of our official OpenSeat community, the Art of Hospitality, where we dive into various topics in and around hosting people in your home.
This community serves as a space for us to equip those that want to learn how to be better hosts, and this dinner party will serve as an introduction to what we're all about.
We'll be digging into some of the key ideas of hospitality such as how to make someone feel welcome, the power of invitation and practical tips around food, conversation, your space and much more!
These are essentially broken down into three themes which we will give an overview on:
1. The art of food
2. The art of conversation
3. The art of space
You can expect the following:
- Welcome drinks and snacks
- A surprise activity
- A delicious home cooked meal
- Unpacking some of the table topics
- Desert and tea
We ask that everyone bring a story with them to contribute to the table, of a community they felt like they belonged to the most.
