A Salty Sunrise Coffee

Early birds and early zombies, join us at Salt (Main Rd, Kalk Bay) for a bright and (perhaps too) early start to your day, from 06h30 to 07h30. Salt's coffee and tea are excellent, and for those who want 'em, I'll have some rusks available on the side. Beyond coffee (or tea), what matters more is getting to hang out as the sun rises over Kalk Bay harbour, and to start your Thursday alongside several other human beings varying on the coolness spectrum. There are several tidal pools nearby if you fancy a post-coffee, post-sunrise dip. The fee goes towards an early bird coffee or tea (~R15-20), a 10% tip for the waitering staff and OpenSeat's platform fee (R4.50). Since you're paying through the platform, you're welcome to arrive, drink your beverage, and depart forthwith - as host, I sort out the bill. There is also the option to have a more sizable breakfast if you are so inclined and don't have anywhere else to be.
